LiveStream Test BroadCast & Embed

LiveStream Test BroadCast & Embed.

Test web cast with a Logitech 9000 web cam & a 3 3.5mbs USB broadband dongle (we will trialling the Telstra Next G 7.2mbs connection tomorrow.

Also of note, is that the free LiveStream version only supports video encoding at 500kbs (approx 250mb bandwidth for the whole game) not super hig-res, but bloody brilliant for free with support up to 50 consecutive viewers..

Embedded into a Word press instance.

If all goes I will be web casting our company basketball games this weekend as a part 2, incorporating some valuable lessons from part 1.

The URL to view live from 5pm AEST Sunday the 11th of October from Alexandria, NSW, Australia is http://www.livestream.com/digitaldreamteam .

We will have a dedicated camera op/commentator and a dedicated live chat chat/vision switcher this week and will also be twittering during the web cast, using single camera coverage only.

Also, the new version of live stream features auto records to the video on demand library so we can’t forget to press it this time. Whoopsie!

PS. and yes, I am wearing a camouflage LazyPatch Duvet (doonah) suit, perfect for a cold Sydney Saturday.
