The client project brief from OneSteel Waratah 125th Anniversary was to consult & develop some digital channel campaign ideas to promote & celebrate the brands iconic Australian history.
After a round of workshops we put forward an interactive flash timeline as one element for the campaign (the campaign also included a Flickr photo competition).
The Next Digital build team did the planning, design & build of the flash timeline. The results were great, the timeline fit with the above the line marketing campaign & added a deep destination for a variety of promotional activities through out the year.
The timeline was bolted onto their existing CMS (which we had previously built) and featured news content under the timeline to allow for fresh news & items to be cross promoted. The creative look and feel also complimented a commissioned video piece as developed by the Spinifex Group for a seamless creative execution.
